Job Title: Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for the company’s supply of goods and services, including but not limited to finding cost-effective deals and suppliers, developing methodologies to cut procurement expense and providing the company with cost effective services and solutions without compromising on the quality.


  • Identify and build relationships with potential and current suppliers. Evaluate and select suppliers based on a variety of factors, including cost, quality, reliability, and compliance.
  • Skillfully review, evaluate and negotiate with external vendors/suppliers the terms and conditions, including pricing, payment terms, and delivery dates, to reach amicable arrangements.
  • Ensure that purchase orders are created, managed, and tracked accurately and efficiently, in order to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Implementing new and improved procurement processes and defining performance metrics for measurement, comparison and evaluation related to cost or quality.
  • Monitoring suppliers’ performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
  • Performing cost analysis and compare the costs of different suppliers and products to identify the most efficient option, while also maintaining quality standards and setting appropriate benchmarks.
  • Ensure that procurement activities are conducted in a way that meets the organization’s standards and procedures, as well as all relevant laws and regulations, including ethical sourcing and sustainability considerations.
  • Collaborate with Human Resource to ensure that inventory levels are optimized and that excess or obsolete stock is minimized.
  • Any other related duties and responsibilities.


  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any other related filed.
  • Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • 10 years of direct experience in purchasing construction materials and services including subcontractor negotiations.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to build & maintain business relationship with suppliers and vendors.
  • UAE & GCC market experience and familiarity with suppliers and vendors.
  • Good knowledge in contracts dispute resolutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, reporting and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
  • Ability to prioritize and demonstrate good time management skills.
